Pippin is being performed this weekend at Ridgefield (CT) High School, while an announcement has just been made that its composer, Stephen Schwartz, will serve as an artistic advisor for Ridgefield's ACT theater group (A Contemporary Theater), a new company. Among other things, ACT will perform one Schwartz production for its first five seasons.
