Stereophonic Rush

I rushed this show on 7/6/24 (Sat.) for the matinee show (which is at 1:00).  As I was walking towards the theater from 7th Ave., I saw a huge line of people on the sidewalk, and my heart sank a little.  But as I got closer to the theater, I saw that the long line was for The Outsiders, and the Stereophonic line was significantly shorter (more on that later).  Talk about relief!!  I got in line at 7:40 and was 11th in line. First person arrived in line at 5:40, 8:45, 22 people, 9:30, 31 people, 9:45, 36 people, and 10:00, 40 people.  I was only getting a single ticket.  The line moved very quickly and in about five minutes, I was purchasing my ticket.  My ticket was Center Orchestra, Row B (first row), seat 108.  Cost $35.  Absolutely fantastic seat with tons of leg room.  If there was anything bad about this seat, by being so close, when the actors are in the studio sound room, you only could see the upper two-thirds of their bodies.  Other than that, the seat was perfect.  I believe that everyone who was in line was able to get a ticket to either show, no problem. Absolutely a fantastic show and a must see.  Now regarding The Outsiders, as I mentioned, the line was very long for the rush (at least 70-80 people).  Before my show started, I went to The Outsiders box office and inquired about the rush tickets.  The attendant stated that they were long gone (which I figured).  He then proceeded to tell me that for their rushes, they may have at the most 14 to 18 tickets available for each show, and a handful of standing room.  Not very many.  The first person arrived at that line approximately 4:30 that morning.  Needless to say, there were a lot of disappointed people in that line who didn't get a ticket.  I'm just throwing this out there to let y'all know what The Outsider rush could be like.  Do with this info as you will.  Take good care everybody and good luck.

They do sell secondary rush for The Outsiders that are still a better deal than full pice...that's why people don't give up even when lines are long ;)
