There's a vid on YouTube of him performing "Gethsemane" that's...wow. Pretty moving.

on the cast recording of JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, his "Gethsemane" is the best I have ever heard. But, I have no clue what he has been up to lately.

I agree...as much as I love Drew Sarich, Steve Balsamo is the best overall Jesus I've ever heard.

Nobody will top Ted Neeley's Jesus for me, but Steve Balsamo comes close. I think he is just fantastic.

Strange that someone started this thread when I just happened to see the video of him as Jesus today. He's amazing, and completely tops Carter in every way possible. Second only to Neeley in my book.
