And they are stealing ideas from Sweeney/Company and will have the actors playing the instruments while they sing through the movie script.

I heard that Sondheim will be re-working the score and that the film will be presented in the same structure as Merrily We Roll Along and the action will take place backwards.
Borrowing from Follies, each cast member will also have an adult counterpart
Menzel, Chenoweth, Pascal, Rapp, Cerveris and LuPone are all on board as well :)
