There's a book... Pure Dead Magic, I think by Debi Gliori. I think it'd be hilarious, and the special effects possibilities... ahh.

I'm still waiting for a musical or an opera of THE VINTNER'S LUCK. It's a novel about a Frenchman and his decades long love affair with an angel. Wonderful! I guess I'll just have to start writing one myself.
