One of Sylvia's children in the film Finding Neverland grew up to play Norman Bates on Bates Motel. It is Peter portrayed by Freddie Highmore

Strange But True

An actor in a movie went on to act in a television show. And this is on the Broadway board...?

He also played Charlie in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory if you were wondering. But, I have to agree, I seem to be missing the point as well.

#4

Strange But True

Finding Neverland is also a show on Broadway. A tenuous connection I will admit but a connection nonetheless.

Why not aggregate the IMDB links for every Broadway show that is based on a movie?

He was also the star of AUGUST RUSH, which has been adapted to the stage. That's three films he has starred in which have been adapted into stage musicals.

"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

Why is this strange? Also, isn't it common knowledge?

It must be a slow news day or Mr. Roxy has too much time on his hands. Have pity on the poor man; he's harmless.

I would think Fleet Week and Restaurant Help would also qualify for being off topic. If the mods can change it(Strange But True) to off topic please do so before more people get their knickers in a twist.

The American Dental Society should connect with Mr Roxy. Any thread he initiates is more numbing than novacaine.

Well said Dollypop.

Mr Roxy astounds me sometimes with his breadth of show biz knowledge but his constant trolling of every thread and injection[meant that one Dollypop] of asinine comments constantly lessens ones' respect for the person.

Poor Mrs Roxy-she has to live with him--we only have to speed read past him.
