Hi all,
We are unexpectedly coming to NYC from 12/24 to 1/1 so very excited!
We love shows and try to get as many in as possible.
Here's what we have planned so far:
Sunday, 12/25 1:00 Rockettes 7:00 Waitress
Monday, 12/26 2:00 Front Page 8:00 Darlene Love
Tuesday, 12/27 open
Wednesday, 12/28 matinee open, 8:00 The Band's Visit
Thursday, 12/29 8:00 Jitney
Friday, 12/30 2:00 Falsettos, 8:00 Holiday Inn
Saturday, 12/31 2:00 Great Comet
So we have a few more openings. These are the other shows we'd like to see The Present, Dear Evan Hansen and Fiddler on the Roof. The hubby is interested in Fiddler and I was willing to drop it but since there's a 2:00 matinee on Tuesday and nothing else we'd like to see at that time, I thought it would be good to fill that spot. Problems is for Tuesday evening's 7:00 show TKTS opens up at 3:00 and we'd likely miss any "hot" tickets.
For DEH I was thinking of going to get rush/SRO or partial view seats. Do they sell partial view ahead of time or does it have to be day of? Any advice about how early to get there? I'm thinking if we do rush/line up at the theatre for DEH or The Present first (to get the evening show) we can then go to Fiddler and rush the matinee. I've heard that the matinee is fairly easy to rush? Or should we split up and line up at different places?
If you feel that we should open up to other shows we are open too!
Thanks in advance!
