I'm a long time patron at Stratford Festival and also of Broadway. Does anyone know if there is any talk of Stratford's current production of Tommy moving to NYC? It was unreal! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_RMsduHt_EU I LOVED Paul Nolan in JCS but he really excels here. The rest of the cast is fantastic as well. I hope there will be a video of the first ten min of the show...incredible what Des Mcinuff has done with new technology! If you have a chance, GO SEE IT!!

I believe the plan is for TOMMY to follow the same trajectory as SUPERSTAR...following a brief run in La Jolla the production will then open on Broadway.
I hope it doesn't tun out to be the same critical and financial disaster SUPERSTAR proved to be. That project helped Stratford achieve a $4 million deficit!
Cast albums are NOT "soundtracks."
Live theatre does not use a "soundtrack." If it did, it wouldn't be live theatre!
