I just saw Movin' Out tour in Baltimore. I strongly recommend it. This is one of the strongest tour casts I ever saw. And I almost saw every Broadway tour in Baltimore in the past two years. If you love dance, don't miss it.
This is the first time I recommend a show. Believe me I have nothing to do with the tour. I love Les Miz tour but I believe most people have seen it. And Movin' Out is a show that shouldn't be missed.
I wrote a detailed review if you are interested.

I couldn't agree more.I just came from the last performance in Baltimore. This cast and the band are simply amazing! I forgot how much I loved this show when I saw it on Broadway, but this brought it all back for me. This tour is simply fantastic!!! If you have the chance, go see Movin' Out!
I'm thinking of going to the tour when it comes to CT at the Oakdale in Wallingford, but can only afford the $21 seats in the back of the orchestra on the side. How long is the show?
Nice to know.....the tour is stopping here in Dayton,OH at my theatre on the 28th. They are actually auditioning replacement dancers while they are here and a few of the ballet dancers from my company are going to try out. I was debating on if I wanted to check it out but I think I will after hearing such good things about it. Thanks!
Maybe it will head to Birmingham or Huntsville so that I can see it.
I wanted to see it in Atlanata but the trip fell through.
millie_dillmount,

I saw it with the OBC and I really enjoyed it. I would like to see the touring cast. Any idea where I can get a list of dates and venues?

FeelingElectric, which cast did you see? Rasta Thomas or Brendan King? I saw Rasta Thomas as Eddie and Laurie Kanyok as Brenda.
I am wonderring if there is anyone who have seen both casts and can write a detailed review to compare them.

I also would encourage people to see this tour. I saw it last spring, and the ensemble (as well as the show itself) was incredible! Also, the cast was very nice, they kindly obliged me at stage door--Holly Cruikshank in particular! Very moving, incredible dancing, simply put: wonderful cast and a great show :)

When do the leads from this company leave to play the show in London?
They've been gone.
and I second the opinion that Rasta and Laurie were fierce and incredible. same goes for Darren Holden.
thank you for posting your comments, i'm seeing it in May when it's in Boston and i'm really looking forward to it :)

The cast was kind of mixed. It was the Sunday evening cast, but there were two replacments to that as well. Here is who I saw:
(Scheduled Performers)
Eddie-Brendan King
Brenda-Whitney Smiler (For Dylis Croman)
Tony-Stuart Capps
Judy-Julie Voshell (For Julieta Gros)
James-Jason Depinto (For Eric Otto)
Sergeant O'Leary/ Drill Sergeant-Joshawa Bergasse
Piano/Lead Vocals-Matthew Friedman
They were amazing.I had the chance to meet them after the show and they were so nice.Julie's mother and father were both there to see their daughter and they congratulate her afterwards with big hugs all around.I got a chance to talk to them for a few minutes. Her daughter saw all the Billy Joel stuff I wore to the show and commented that I must be a huge fan(Truth is I saw Billy Joel in concert Last Monday and Thursday night berfore going to Movin' Out on Sunday)and thaqnked me for coming to the show.It was a great experience.
