Hi everyone,
I am visiting NYC in june and want to go and see a whole host of shows. I am a student from the UK (LONDON)and i have been researching the option of buying a student ticket at select shows i would like to see.
My question is that obviously i have British student ID so would this still qualify as valid ID to purchase rush tickets?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
some theaters don't even ask for id anyone. Some do and to be honest, I think you'll be fine.
I'm sure it would be. I used my ID when I was in London and they didn't even question it.
I've used my old student ID (which is clearly expired) to get rush seats. No one cared. You'll be fine.
any ideas how tough they're about this at La Cage?
No one really checks-- they just glance.

I've had a friend use a University of Tokyo ID with no English characters on it. I don't know if every box office is that loose, but honestly, a UK ID? Shouldn't be any problem at all. A student is a student is a student.

When in NYC the past week I used my Imperial College London student ID with no problems at all.
