"Stuff Happens" may be (finally) coming to New York

"A year and a half after generating great buzz and excitement in London media, political and theater circles, Stuff Happens, David Hare's riveting docudrama about the war in Iraq, may finally get a proper New York production.

The play received a staged reading last fall at the Tribeca Film Festival.

Now comes word that the Public Theater, which has a long tradition of presenting political theater, is in discussions with Hare about staging a full-scale production of it this winter."

Let's hope it's true!
