A day in the life of a subway car as it bounces to the beats of the life inside, outside on the platform musicians perform and pump the pulse through the veins of the city. SUBWAY TRAIN is about 3 poets on their way to a poetry slam; they encounter danger and take risk, in both riding the train and in their writing.
The world's first beat poetry musical invented by the Liilaa Company's: Joshua Kobak (RENT, swim), Katy Pfaffl (Katy Pfaffl Band) and Mickey Fisher (Leo's Pride Entertainment). SUBWAY TRAIN was written by those who knew all the dangerous NYC subway folklore before becoming straphangers themselves...this is what they experienced and learned. Presented by
The Liilaa Company
Written and performed by:
Joshua Kobak, Katy Pfaffl, Mickey Fisher, and Yassmin Alers (Broadway- RENT, Rocky Horror Picture Show, Capeman).
Music by:
Sean Dixon, Danton Boller, Joshua Kobak, and Katy Pfaffl

hehe, you joined just to post this, didn't ya?
Seriously, being geographically challenged, I have never seen this, but I have friends that count it as one of their favorite shows.
Joshua Kobak is an amazing performer. THAT I can say for certain.
