Has anybody seen any SPF plays yet? Thoughts? I saw one yesterday, and I'm seeing another today; figured it couldn't hurt to have a thread about the festival.

I saw Splitting Infinity today and I agree -- it was really quite good!
I really, really liked Splitting Infinity. It was interesting to me on so many levels, which made it all the more enjoyable.
Am I the only one who thought the actress playing the young Leigh looked a little but like Hilary Duff now that she's in her "skinny" phase?

Thanks for the 411. Will check it out.
I saw "The Squirrel" yesterday afternoon, and despite a few things that could be cleaned up, I enjoyed it quite a bit - and for the most part, the rest of the audience seemed to agree.
I am actually interning for SPF this year. It has been a fabulous experience. The plays are really tremendous, and the production value is remarkable, especially for the $10 ticket price. I highly recommend each and every show, but am going to plug that which I am personally working on, SPAIN. It tells the story of a 16th century conquistador that ends up in the 21st century living room of a woman who lives in Washington DC. It is extremely clever, really well written and has been given a truly top-notch production, with an amazing cast and crew. Jeremy Dobrish (adobe theater company, "The Joys of Sex") is directing. Come and see us!

Anybody plan on seeing A Wive's Tale? I was asked to work on it, but couldn't because I'm already doing a show. Unfortunately my job is out of town, otherwise I would have at least tried to see it, as the story sounded very interesting. Post-apocalyptic kind of thing. I guess it's still in rehearsal, but if anybody sees it I'd be curious to know how it is. I did the SPF in its first year and had a pretty good time, and got to work with some very talented people. I'm glad to see that it caught on as a yearly thing, always good to have more opportunities for new plays, and for people to get work.
