Summer of '42 at iTunes

At last!!!! The cast album of Summer of '42 has finally been release, AND it is available at iTunes. Not all the tracks are there, but what's there is great. The most notable absence is the bonus track of Losing Track of Time, which IS on the complete set.

I have already ordered my copy from CD Universe, but I couldn't wait to hear Rachel's songs, so I downloaded the three that are there - Little Did I Dream, Someone to Dance with Me, and Promise of the Morning. They are even better than I remembered them from when I saw the show in Texas. This is a great show and deserves attention. It's sweet, funny, tender, touching, and sad - and it rings very true. I can't wait to hear the whole score again. The entire cast is pretty terrific, too.

EDIT: I just checked back at iTunes, and they have updated the playlist to include all 41 tracks, including the two bonus tracks by Rachel York - Our Story So Far and Losing Track of Time. Gorgeous!
