Well, what a turn out for the books...

A great show, well designed, beautifully staged and fully realised. + a good cast...

Shame about it being on such a small stage, I felt at times it needed a larger space... but I was Stalls, dead centre, 5th row... I lead a tough life!

I also saw this last minute, when was it....oohh...Saturday night! Of all nights to see something last minute. Anyway, I loved it, I was goose pimply all over and shed quite a few tears because of the superb singing! The set design and special effects were phenominal, i mean have they won awards yet? Or been nominated, I don't know, but they should be! I mean for those who have seen it, when the painting pans along...know which bit i mean, i don't want to give too much away....wow!
I love sondheim, my boyfriend usually enjoys sondheim but i don't think he was in love with the piece as much as me, which maybe suggests it isn't an everyman's piece. But I would give it 9.5/10. Go see it quick!!!!!!!!!!
