I was thinking of going into the city for the Rent lotto on Sunday March 11th. How have the crowds been for the sunday show. What do you think the chances will be of getting tickets?
the show is notoriously sporatic in terms of crowds. i've gone when there was a small crowd of 40 and lost, and i've won when there were over 200. You never know, so just go try and have fun =)

I lost two lottos tonight- lost the RENT lotto for the Sun evening show (three of us playing, none of us got called), and then lost the SPELLING BEE lotto for the Sun evening show (two playing, neither name called).
The RENT lotto was a little crowded (60-75ish people?), but the BEE lotto was *so* empty, pretty much every single person there except me got their named called. :)
RENT was probably a little more crowded tonight than a normal sunday night because it is Jaime Lee Kirchener's last show.
Interesting, so didn't know that, that makes sense- I'd just figured the RENT lotto was always crowded-ish on Sunday nights because they're one of the few Sun night shows. I mean it wasn't WICKED lotto crowded or anything, but it was a lot more crowded than I was expecting a non-Spring Break night in March to be.
