I would try to get as close to the center as possible for this one.
I sat rear mezz in the middle and front mezz on the side, and while the front is the perfect distance, the cool thing about the projections is they line up with the characters in front of them (the person becomes a part of the painting kinda thing), and this effect is lost a bit from the sides.
