Just saw MILLIE again today for the thrid time. Yes, Sutton was awesome, but SO IS Susan in a completely different way. Kind of neat to see a new take. [I reallly Liked Dixie Carter, too, BTW] I went to Susan's website when I got home (susanegan.net - very thorough site!) and read that she is going to be out of the show on Wednesday (March 10) because of some TV committment. Anyone know what it is?

Hey -- I like your Jane Fonda picture -- made me laugh. But I don't know what the TV thing is. I actually went to her site for the first time today -- the address was in the Playbill. Do you know anything?

I'm glad that you enjoyed Susan's performance. I saw her on her first weekend and she was definitely still trying to feel out the role and see what worked and what didn't. I enjoyed some of the different things she did (she seems to have played the role a little more emotionally - and not as comically as Sutton in the performances that I saw). I've not seen Dixie Carter as Meers yet and I was really wondering how she was.

hmm...glad to know she's doing a good job! I saw her in Cabaret a few weeks before it closed and she was GREAT!

I saw it three times with Sutton and (of course) loved everything about her peformance. I may go back sometime because I've made my best friend listen to the album and she wants to see it...but it will be hard for me to accept another Millie! :)
