"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

ah! game shows make me so mad. actually the contestants. when talking about the mess down in Fl for the past election, my AP Gov't teacher said "never underestimate the stupidity of the American people." that theory has never been proven wrong and it still stands...

See now, that's funny...I watched it and the second I saw the names Sutton and Andrews I shouted Thoroughly Modern Millie and my sister screamed at me cuz I got it before her, so I didn't catch the Victor/Victoria answer...hm....

hmm speaking of broadway questions on game shows, on Who wants to be a millionair there was a question like "which john waters movie was turned into a hit broadway musical in 2002." And the lady had to use a life line on it. I was like screaming at the TV. hahah.

That's kind of a hard question to miss....or maybe it's the fact that I'm just obsessed with TMM. Whatever.
