Sutton Foster to GUEST Star in Johnny and the Sprites!!!

I was just setting my TIVO for the first two episodes of John Tartaglia's Johnny and the Sprites and I was looking at the cast list and Sutton Foster was listed in the cast for both episodes!!! I couldn't beleive it. Also as I reported about two months ago, the Altar Boyz will be making a guest appearnce in one of the upcoming episodes. And people told me I was crazy to want to watch this! HA!

It airs on the 13 at 10:00 AM on Playhouse Disney (The Disney Channel) and it's on a saturday so you will be able to see it!

Yeah, that's the series it's based on. The original was only 5 minutes though. This one is a full half hour.

What's DVRing? Are you recording it on a DVD or something? I only have TIVO. haha.

Same thing as Tivo basically. You can get a DVR if you have Cox as your cable provider.

While everyone should certainly be very excited for Johnny and the Sprites for many reasons (the show is amazing--please watch and enjoy!), Foster is a featured performer in one of the episodes. [And additionally, she obviously isn't the only Broadway/Theatre pro to be involved in the show, whether regularly or otherwise... :)]

It says she's in the first two so I figured that she would be a regualar. The first comes on the 13th the second on 14th.

The first episode is "Turbo Car Johnny; Antenna Dilema" and she's lisdted. The next episode is "Root's Da Doots; Nospotalotacus" and she's listed. Know I'm not saying your wrong, I'm just sayin that's what my TIVO says. :)

Well, since she's not in any of those episodes, I'm assuming it was some sort of a one-shot-deal with the cast list that Tivo has; I don't have Tivo, so I didn't check as far as the episodes being the same, but those are two different episodes (obviously, haha). In any case, they're quite terrific... and I can promise you my information is not wrong :)

My listing also has Natalie Venetia Belcon in that first episode...just to give credit where it's due. I hope this is just the first of many, many Broadway actor cameos.

I'm pretty sure that there will be a Broadway or musical theatre guest performer in every episode, or at least every half episode (the show is divided into two sections)

There are also 3 additional sprites along with Ginger and Basil from the 5 minute episodes; Lily, Root and Sage. I believe Mrs. Moldystew is gone from the new 30 min episodes, but I don't know that for a fact.

I'm just so happy for John
