I am hoping to see Sweeney Todd, either on the 21st of the 7th. I have two questions
1. Has anyone ever sat in the back of the mezzanine? If so, can you see everything?
2. Will the cast be there on both days? (presuming they are not sick.)
Thanks!!

all the seats at Eugene O'Neill besides the partially obstructed view seats are excellent. You will see everything just fine.
Patti has only missed one show and Michael has missed none so you should be fine.
The cast rarely misses performances, so you should be good to go there. There are no Sarah's in the cast.

the only time Patti is SCHEDULED to be out is Valentine's Day weekend....she has a concert engagement and it's in her contract. the cast has said numerous times that nobody wants to be the first out....Patti won that distinction a few weekends ago.
I saw the show from the first row of the rear mezz, and it was fine. Maybe I couldn't see a wink, or a smirk, but everything else was fine.
This is good to know, since I just bought tickets for the rear mezzanine and I was a bit worried about that. They're so much cheaper that it sounds too good to be true! Updated On: 1/6/06 at 11:44 PM
How long will Patti be in the show? I'm hopefully going in April and I would die to be able to see her.
Good morning! Just wanted to say that I am so psyched to see this! My boyfriend surprised me with tickets to the 2pm matinee tomorrow. I was most excited to realize that more people have heard of Sweeney than I thought...a couple of my co-workers are fans, people who are not even huge theater fans. Can't wait to see Patti tuba-ing!
is anything blocked if you sit on the sides or should I try for the middle?
Are you talking about orchestra (obstructed view?) or mezz? I sat in the second-to-last row of the mezz, in the farthest seat to the left (against the wall), and I had a perfect view.
Oh...I'm pretty sure you'll have a great view from there. Enjoy the show!
