#1Sweeney Todd Filming Status Question???
Posted: 4/25/07 at 5:00pmI was reading on IMDB and I'm not trusting it, but it's posted for Sweeney that filming is in post production. Does anyone know if that's true or not? I'm just saying cause that was pretty quick filming if it's already in post production.

That's true. It's not like they are shooting some big action movie with explosions and stuff like that. I always thought that movies took 6 months to shoot, well maybe some do.
So, with that knowledge in mind, I think that the first preview should be coming out soon along with more photos.

Actually, I like the fact that this one is being kept more mysterious.

Posted: 4/25/07 at 8:38pmIt's been hypothicized that the first teaser trailer for SWEENEY will come out before this summer's PIRATES 3.

SWEENEY is being kept very hush at the moment.
Saw Helena Bonham Carter do a promo vid on IDOL tonight. Her hair screamed Mrs. Lovett and was a redish color (which doesn't necessarily mean that's the color or style used in the film).
I have a feeling SWEENEY is going to try for a low-key Oscar promotion. It should certainly get its box office either way, being a Burton/Depp film in addition to Sacha Baron Cohen. Then you have your minority audiences for Helena Bonham Carter, Alan Rickman, and musicals.
