Posted: 4/30/06 at 9:46amI sat 7th row for sweeney, but front row for Nine, which was in the same theatre, and I could see perfectly fine. Your neck might strain a bit, but its a fine view.

Posted: 4/30/06 at 9:47amThe view is supposed to be amazing because the stage isn't that high up. however you might want to bring a rainjacket because michael cerveris spits every line over the audience and it looked kind of gross. You might want to aim for the 2nd or 3rd. The actors play to the audience A LOT who sit up close, especially if you look amused haha.

Posted: 4/30/06 at 9:57amI sat in the front, and it's an experience I would very much suggest to others if you can. As stated before the stage isn't that high, and you really feel so emersed in thier world, and can some great contact (eye or otherwise) from the actors. Michael does spit, but it never ever hit me even though I was dead center and he was spitting quite a bit. He even apoligized afterward at the stage door in case any of his spit did indeed find its way on me. Very enjoyable.

Posted: 4/30/06 at 10:51amThe first time I saw it was from front and center. I thought it was an amazing way to experience it.The instruments almost become characters with voices in and of themselves. When Tobias dropped his bow string to the front of the stage we almost jumped out of our skins. You miss some of the stage picture but you gain a lot too.

Posted: 4/30/06 at 11:14amdefinately and it's not just him who spits. I was 8th row........I'm not a fan of Row 1, I just think things are missed. Even in row 8 I could see every nuance of their faces......and frankly even there I ducked for one of the times he spit........

Posted: 4/30/06 at 11:21amI sat in the front row, seat 6, and could not see the actors at all on the other side of the stage when they were seated and playing their instruments. I would only sit in the front row again if I could be in the center section. Hope that helps....

I liked the front row :)
I got splash of blood on me though cause i was right in front of them when they poured it.
But you'll be fine. I have 3 vertebrae fused together and my neck didnt hurt.

Posted: 4/30/06 at 2:51pmI actually just bought tickets for June 7th night show in row AA seats 108 and 109. I made it a point to get the direct front and center for my birthday gift. I'm dying for this experience, I've sat everywhere in that theater except the direct front.

Posted: 4/30/06 at 3:27pmYeah, I was in the front row, I wasn't spat upon though. You could still see pretty well, and Manoel shoves Pirelli's Elixer in the faces of a few men in the row. I would feel honored to be spat upon by Michael Cerveris. :)
Percy: Sink me! If it isn't Javvurt!
Javert: Zsah-vair, it's pronounced Zsah-vair.
Pecry: But it's spelled J-A-V-E-R-T Javvurt.
Javert: Repeat after me Zsah...Zsah....
Percy: Oh! Zsa-Zsa! Like the Gabor sister! Well I personally have always prefered Eva.
Javert: (Looks for gun)

Posted: 4/30/06 at 3:33pmI have the honor in that theatre of being splashed by water in the grand canal sequence during Nine by Antoni Banderas. They always like to have shows in that theatre where the audience is somehow affected by the onstage elements.

I sat front row center and loved it.
In the very center the seats curve away from the stage, so you have more room than most other places in the theater.
From the center you can see everything. I have also been on the secong row on the right side and from there it is hard to see upstage left. I have always loved being close to the stage though.
