Sweeney Todd Student Rush

Hi there! I'm looking at going up to NYC this weekend to rush Sweeney Todd. Has anyone tried this? What type of seats do you get? Is there a long line before the show?

I did it yesterday for the first time. I arrived at 11:45 and there were about 5 people in front of me and 10 behind me. You are able to purchase tickets 2 hours before curtain. It was $36.25 and tickets are anywhere in the theater. I got 1st row mezz but my friend got row G orchestra once.

I have one other question- do you know if there is some sort of age restriction? Do you have to be eighteen or older?

They DO have SRO on weekends, though.

No age restriction, but you do need a student ID.

Also, they don't always adhere to the no rush tickets on weekends rule...I've gotten rush tks on Saturdays before, with no problem. Depends on the mood of the person working at the B.O.
