(Even more excitedly if I don't have to pay $105 to see and hear "Stokes" phone in a performance and scoop his way through the score.)

Posted: 3/18/05 at 12:33pmYou guys need to look at the other thread regarding the casting breakdown of the roles -- this isn't a standard production of Sweeney Todd. It won't feature Stokes or Bernadette Peters or Patti LuPone unless they having been hiding a talent for playing specific music instruments. This is a highly stylized production that began life in London! THE CAST IS THE ORCHESTRA!

If Stokes does star, he'd have to play the clarient well, I think that's what Sweeney plays.
I wish I would have auditioned for Tobias!!!!! I play the flute.......oh well

Michael Bennett, you think this is going to drive you crazy? Just wait until the "OMG! Cheno should play Johanna and Idina should play Mrs Lovett 'cuz shes the best actress ever" starts.

Posted: 3/18/05 at 4:35pmI'm very excited that the 5th Avenue Theater in Seattle is staging it as well in their upcoming season... however, they will be doing a traditional staging of the show.
