I watched the DVD of the OBC today (wow, I was amazed) and saw the note that said it was based on the play of the samename by (christopher boyd? i think?)

has anyone seen the play version?

has it been successful?

Christopher BOND is the name of the playwright. Here's some info you might find of interest.

Letting you know there is no dvd of the OBC. There are 2 DVDs(both have George Hearn(The 2nd Sweeney)):Sweeney Todd in Concert; *Sweeny Todd, tDBoFS(1982 tour)

*=tour has much of original cast in it including Lansbury and Ken jennings
