I dont know if we had a thread about this yet, but I can't even begin to say how excited I am about having this show come back to broadway. I really hope that it is done well, I think Christina Applegate is going to be sublime in this part. Its one of my favourite musicals right now, and I think that it will do very well.
Any thoughts?

Posted: 6/24/04 at 1:15amI can't say that I have a whole lot of objectivity when it comes to pieces of Mr. Fosse's - he's one of my creative heroes. A curiosity I have is what is Ms. Applegate's theatrical background? I have no reason to think she can't do the role, I'm just curious.

I'm not so sure about Christina as Charity. I liked the idea of Jane Krakowski a lot more.
I am excited for the revival though, and very curious to see how it will be received this time around.
