My personal choice would have been Rocky. Rocky is what introduced me to Raul (i have about thirteen different cast albums and counting), and it's my favorite show of all time, so that's always my choice. I really wish O'Brien would've written a solo for Riff just so Raul could sing it! Anyway, favorite Raul moment on Rocky is when he comes in at the end of (Wild and Untamed Things) with "FRAAAANNNKKKKENNNNNNFUUUUURRRTTTEEEERR ITTTS ALLLL OVVVVVERRRRR" Yeah. I put that entire thing, from start to finish as my cell phone message and my bitchy friends/family told me i had to remove it because it was "too long". That's crap. I'd call myself just to listen to it. Anyway....

My choice would be Rocky as well Ruffian. But we seem to be on the same page of script most of the time.
"All I ask of you is one thing: please don't be cynical. I hate cynicism -- it's my least favorite quality and it doesn't lead anywhere. Nobody in life gets exactly what they thought they were going to get. But if you work really hard and you're kind, amazing things will happen."

"There needs to be a rehab for Raul addicts."
I haven't quite reached that point yet, seeing as I haven't seen him live, which is tragic in itself. But since Raul and Adam are friends (I think) and they kind of sound similar, may Adam addicts join? lol!

I think I have one....
Yeah, it was the day before they recorded the OBCR and Raul had just been sick. He was saving his voice.

I saw TABOO 14 times and woulda went 5 more times, but your math is correct...he missed the entire week prior to the Recording....my Box Office Pal told me his throat was bad....poor baby...I wouldn't go in w/o him
The UnderStudy could sing, YES, but there's singing and there's SINGING.....
I know you KNOW what I mean
lol

Yeah, I know exactly what you mean. I knew he was going to be out the night before I went, but I already had my tickets and that was really my only opportunity to see it. The understudy was really good, but I'm sure nothing compares to Raul. I felt the same way when I saw Adam's understudy. He could sing, but there's just no comparison. But now he's coming back!!!!!!!!! God, I have such a one-track mind.
