I read an article that said:
"A long Sunday meeting between Local 1 and the league spilled into the early morning hours of Monday. Both sides resumed talks Monday evening and continued until past dawn, fueled by salad and bottled water deliveries."
No WONDER! They didn't have any PROTEIN! You can't negotiate for 48 hours straight with only salad and water! Give these people something more substantial to NOSH on!

If it means resolution, I will cook for everyone. Seriously. Protein, carbs, fruits and veg... A whole spread. Just give me back my BROADWAY!

The media was quick to say "TALKS HAVE BROKEN DOWN WITH NO DEAL IN PLACE AND NO MORE TALKS SCHEDULED!"
But an hour later, we learned that was not the case. I think this will get resolved eventually, unfortunately, it's foolish at this point to pin a timeline on it.

At least they are talking... I think the end is in sight. Sounds "hopeful" that they want to contine meeting and it may indicate both sides want this resolved as quickly as possible as much as the fans and everyone else affected does.

It's true... I think we're all losing our minds (if we ever had them to begin with).
I found myself wondering this weekend what the real dedicated broadway junkies were doing with themselves? The "Wicked" tweens, the "Rent"heads, the girl who almost never misses a performance of "Spring Awakening"... what have they been up to? Are they alright? I mean we all feel for the stage hands, the actors, musicians, wardrobe, usher, merch etc. folks, but what about the junkies? Where's the love for the junkies?

I think they're all here. Present and accounted for.

I know this is a sick thought, so don't anyone start pelting me. It occurred to me that if the negotiators fall victim to malnutrition, they might concede because of hunger pangs.

Yeah, please, I need me some Broadway . . . I am a "Wicked" [way older than 'tween] freak; a Rent-head and Broadway junkie and having withdrawal!!!
Hey, I even thought about moving back to Hollyweird! This is getting bad . . .because I HATE HOLLYWEIRD! Ok, I will calm down now.
I have tons of video to edit soon and keep me Broadway-minded. I have shots from "Broadway Barks", "Flea Market" and stage doors of "Wicked (three different times)", "Rent" on Anthony and Adam's final performance evening . . ."Les Miserables" and "Drowsy Chaperone" and one of "Wicked" from the West End.

I think this will get resolved eventually
No, it's never going to get resolved. Broadway is now effectively over forever.
Of course it's going to be resolved eventually. That's really not some great insight.

I envy all of you who keep a positive outlook. It's getting more and more disheartening.

Me too. I lost three shows these past two weeks [money happily refunded by Telecharge], but travelled to NSMT one Sunday.
p.s. As for January -- I've already booked Queens Theatre in London for two shows.
pps: Hey, Drew. Your "Superfans" will be pretty close to front and center.

I know the solution - on the OT board there is a great discussion of bread pudding. We need to bring bread pudding to the next negotiating session, and everyone will be in a coma with high calorie euphoria - instant resolution!
