TARZAN In Talks For Sit-Down Las Vegas Production

"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

It seems strange that they are confident enough to think of a Vegas production when the Broadway show has yet to open. Granted Disney's musicals have a pretty good track record, but still...it's a bit hasty I think.
"I hope you're all happy, keeping Alan off the team. Couldn't you, for once, open your minds and hearts and hear something that he couldn't see? I, for one, am glad that Alan is blind, so he can't see what, I am so sad to say, you can't hear." -Jerri Blank

It will be the most spectacular show to open on Broadway since Lion King.

That's not a compliment.

I'm interested in this show, but like all other Disney shows, when I see it, i'm sure i'll still feel like i'm seeing something at a Disney theme park rather than a Broadway theater.
