According to the LA times; The Radio City engagement of "Ten Commandments" has been cancelled. Thank god they came to their senses.
Given the reviews it received, the feedback on here and the fact that they are working on a reduced performance schedule at tke Kodak to allow for more retooling, I don't think anyone is surprised. Relieved, yes. Surprised, no.
While I don't like seeing actors out of work; I am sure many people will be relieved to be released from their contracts.
The relief belongs purely to the paying audience.

You can say that again! They are still calling the cancelation a "time for re-tooling". But they have nothing to retool. Turd is still crap no matter how you lay it out or spread it.
Mafia;
You are so eloquent.
And there are SO many wonderful expressions for that, too. My favourite:
You can put SH*T in a hat and make it dance, but it's still SH*T.
I think they should use that in their advertising. That way; lovers of crap an go get their fill.
Is he still around?
I think so. I think he only speaks on behalf of the NRA now.
Michael Moore finding him was a few years ago. I understand he is in very poor health. Maybe Kilmer can go visit and give him his own personal show. Just make sure thrs a big toilet in hand.-
Ok now I am even disgusting myself-
Val Kilmer giving him a one man show might just finish him off, Dame.
No one deserves that. As much as I dislike Charlton heston. He doesn't deserve that.

Sam rubin (KTLA entertainment reporter) compared it to Heavens Gate this morning. It was mean but very funny. Then he showed ppeople on the street handing out complimentary tickets with a discount included for California Pizza kitchen.

I think when you put
"The Musical Spectacle" it might make one think of something Vegas would put on.
I wish I would be better received.. or better done cause it sounds like it could be a pretty neat show if they did it correctly
Oh Dear God, NOOOO!! Please tell me they recorded it on DVD. Please?....Hello?

Oh drat! I was looking forward to seeing something this incredibly bad. There's nothing like a bad musical to spark dinner parties! I got incredible mileage out of describing scenes from THOU SHALT NOT, MOLLY, TITANIC and BREAKFAST AT TIFFANY's. I was hoping that I'd see THE TEN COMMANDMENTS and roar with hilarity at its awefulness!
I have the DVD of Notre Dame De Paris & it is dreadful. To those who saw both, which was worse ?
One of our neighbors just returned from LA & gave us a souvenir program from " 10 Commandments"
Let's keep to the facts, according to the L.A. Times, link provided, the show has been postponed, not cancelled.
The article also states that "The show's original French creator, Elie Chouraqui, is taking a more active role in the creative team for the American production, according to a statement from producer Charles Cohen".
Just trying to keep it real.
Ok...have at it DAME. I'm sure you can come up with more than a few bitter jokes to entertain the unemployed....
