For anyone familiar with the text, particularly that of the third act:
Because of a sudden medical emergency during the third act of THE FRONT PAGE yesterday that halted the performance for 20 minutes (I hope the afflicted person is OK at the hospital), I did not hear the end of a line Nathan Lane delivered: something about a dentist and a woman. It was meant to show how detrimental women can be to men, according to the acerbic Walter (Lane). Does this ring a bell with anyone?
Also, when the play resumed, the curtain went back up on Lane on the phone saying "It feels like I've been standing here for an hour." The audience responded enthusiastically. Was that an ad-lib, or is it part of the text?
Thanks!

Thanks, I surmised as much. It seemed too right for the moment to be from the script.
