There is so much BS in that PR release. Any time they have to start making with the box-office tub-thumping, you know it's BS. And if it was SOOOOOO fantastic and such a HUUUUUGE hit then why is this producer going to do a workshop in NY? If you're so convinced it's huge and fantastic then just bring it in? What, they couldn't get NY people to go see it at a major regional theater? This reeks.

I mean, to be fair, they could be doing a New York workshop because they want to keep improving the show. I think it got good reviews but not raves so why not try to make it even better

I found it really enjoyable and better than half the crap I saw on Broadway this past season. It's a crowd pleaser. Not everything needs to be life altering...just a good time at the theater.
