THE MYSTERY OF IRMA VEP IN NEW YORK

Oh my god! Can it possibly be true? My friend's sister says that Rocky Horror star Paul Pecorino is starring in a new production of Mystery of Irma Vep in NYC this Summer. Does anyone know if this is true? I love that show!

YES, IT'S TRUE. The show will run at Urban Stages for 14 performances in July and hopes to transfer to an off-broadway venue in the fall. Paul Pecorino wil play Lady Enid/Nicodemus and another Rocky Horror alum, Chris Dell'Armo, will play Lord Edgar/Jane. Look for tickets for the preview at www.smarttix.com

Both he and Chris Dell'Armo did Irma Vep before although I didn't see it. Vep is rarely performed in New York as it's so hard to get the rights to do it. There will be alot of interest in this production. Urban stages is a great venue but the real challenge for the show will be costumes and stage design -
