re: THE TIMES THEY ARE A-CHANGIN'

I printed out a song list of the San Diego Production if you can find that.
It may vary in NYC.
Twyla and the Musical Director, Michael Dansicker,
Put them together Beautifully.

Michael arden and Caren lyn manuel are freaking awesome
this show is going to be amazing
Once upon a time I used to play with toys, but now I'd rather play around with teenage boys

Wow, I never thought we'd find someone ELSE who types that way.

re: THE TIMES THEY ARE A-CHANGIN'

I saw the show in San Diego, without Michael (and I just got through therapy to get over that), and thought it would be well received in NYC. Michael and Tom are worth the price of a ticket. Dylan's music fits well into the crazy travelling circus theme. The dancing will get tighter. There were some memorable moments.

Omg that's horrible! You poor thing (ahhh "Poor Thing" re: THE TIMES THEY ARE A-CHANGIN' I Love you Sweeney!!) I would need loads of therapy if I missed Michael! Although I heard the understudy was good. But obviously NO ONE is Michael. That's ok it just means you'll have to see it twice in NY to make up =)

re: THE TIMES THEY ARE A-CHANGIN'

Let me tell you Gust...my wife and I drove to SD, during a busy time for both of us, I walk into the lobby and I see Michael standing there signing with a young lady. I think, great Michael makes and audience entrance, like he did in Pippin is LA. I go to my seat and open the program and out falls the understudy announcement. I grabbed my wife's arm and screamed "NOOOOOOOOOOOO" My heart hit the floor. I got up to see if Michael was still in the lobby (I don't know why, to try and convince him to go on for me I guess) and the general manager says Michael had been sick and lost his voice.

I cried.

re: THE TIMES THEY ARE A-CHANGIN'

Noooooooooooooooooooooooo!

He was in his seat by the time I was talking to the Old Globe GM. Then he left before the show ended, there is no intermission, so I lost my only chance.

Sorry, I have to go, I have to call my therapist...again.

I saw it in San Diego, and enjoyed it. The only flaw that I found was the story, it was just a bit bizzare.

re: THE TIMES THEY ARE A-CHANGIN'

Oh my god that's awful!! I can't even imagine that kind of dissapointment (and *knonk on wood I won't ever have to)...Well you'll just have to make up for it by overdosing in Michael if you come see it in NYC :) So sorry about what happened

re: THE TIMES THEY ARE A-CHANGIN'

Gustof...thank you for your compassion.

I did get to meet and chat with Michael in Jan. of 2005. He was in LA for Pippin and after the show we talked for a few minutes. His performance and his kindness overwelmed me. I am Michael Arden fan until the end. So, if I could find some time to go to the city and see him...I will let you know.

thanks again
