What is the likeliness that this revival will be recorded?

The Roundabout is usually good with recording their musicals, even if they're limited engagements. ASSASSINS was recorded, as it should have been. And even PACIFIC OVERTURES, which didn't fair so well with reviews and didn't extend, was recorded. At the same time, it's Sondheim so it bares recording.

Any word on the possibility of THREEPENNY? With names like Lauper and McKay displayed on the cover, I can't see how it wouldn't sell well.

Apparently the Roundabout has been very quiet about this recording.

...even with the cast.

I really hope this gets recorded.

I love Three Penny Opera. But I detested this production. I wish I had walked out along with the rest of most of the audience.

You're kidding, right?

Maybe it was just this performance, but I HIGHLY doubt most of the audience walked out.

On the night I saw it...the audience rose to it's feet in an ovation after the finale.

Too bad there was no curtain call to accept the ovation.

Indeed.

But I think it suits this production.

I did see the very second performance. Are you all suggesting I go back?

I agree that this absolutely MUST be recorded. There are some great performances here that need to be preserved. I feel confident that they will.
