I know they had rush for the last run, but I haven't been able to find information about anything but standing room for $26.50 when it's sold out. Anyone know anything about it?
I've been wondering this too, but haven't heard anything. I'm hoping for the same policy it had back in the winter time. And hopefully we'll find out real soon since previews start tomorrow.

I was at the box office on Tuesday and they said no rush as of now only SRO when sold out n $26.50 in the Balcony
If you are interested in Time Stands Still, check out my blog. I'm giving away a free pair of tickets at random to somebody who replies with the right answer to the question in the post.

They had rush last time because they were at MTC, which has a standard rush policy for all their shows. This is a commercial production, which means totally different transfers. When THE 39 STEPS moved from Roundabout to a commercial transfer, nobody expected them to have $10 tickets to the first preview again.
I'm guessing there will be rush, but it may take them a couple days to decide on the policy. Also, when I asked about SRO, they said they don't sell standing room during previews.

For the record, if you really want to see the show, why not buy the 26.50 balcony seats? It has also been on TDF for many shows too. I am going tonight and will report on how the view is from the balcony.
I did end up just buying balcony seats for Saturday since I'm only going to be in town for the weekend. I'm sure they'll be fine- excited to see the show!

I went tonight to the first performance at the Cort and have to say that the play is still in excellent shape. The three principal cast members are all still giving the same fantastic performances they gave last season. Christina Ricci is solid, if not quite as good as Alcia Silverstone in the role.
The 26.50 seats are ok. I was in the back row and it was nice to be able to lean over without anyone yelling at you. Sightlines are pretty great actually, but you are far up for sure. Still, I definitely was able to enjoy the play, I did miss Laura's scars. My boyfriend wasn't even able to notice that she had them.
However, if you want to see this show, I would say go for it, and you won't be disappointed.
The audience ate it up tonight, and from what I could see the theater was very full. Everyone but Christina Ricci came out at the stagedoor. Laura is so nice at the stage door, she signed my You can Count on me Dvd, and was very friendly, taking pictures with anyone who asked. I still think she is one of the nicest and most gracious actresses working in Hollywood today.
Christina Ricci came out the stagedoor and signed for many people on our side.
