Hey guys! A few of my friends were gonna go down to the city today to try and get some discount tickets. Could anyone tell me whats been up there lately? Thanks!

TKTS today was mobbed!!! There were no musicals up today on it either, only like 20 shows and they had to close the line it was so long!

It was INSANE today. Every matinee was sold out. (I went to 7 theaters before I found student tickets) TKTS only had 3 shows on it by the time I saw the board. And don't even get me started on the Wicked lottery!

I was in the city as well, couldn't find a thing to see! I was so upset! Went to TKTS, wasn't anything there, then just started walking up and down, looking for student rush seats...nada. Oh, well...

Originally I was going to try for Wicked, but almost threw up when I saw the line for the lottery. I went to Studio 54, Democracy, Brooklyn, Dame Edna, Gem of the Ocean, Little Women, all sold out. I ended up at night Mother in the far back mezz and by the time the show started THAT was sold out. A good day for broadway.

what a day in the city! I could not believe that EVERY show was sold out! Dont even talk about the Wicked lottery! I've never seen so many people in my life on 1 little line! I waited on line at TKTS and when I got there, it was HORRIBLE shows...well no they werent. They were shows that I didn't want to see. Then I went to Fiddler, Bklyn, Little Women, & Gem of the Ocean and they were all sold out! I mean I was just 1 little person! How could they not have 1 little ticket!?!?! I'm deffinetly staying out of the city for a very long time! Though it was exciting to see all the setting up for New Years Eve!

this is somewhat off topic, but it has to deal with TKTS...a while ago i posted about that i read at the TKTS booth that there was the possibility with their tickets that you would not be seated because they were attained off the street and might be illegal...however, i completely misread the sign...it said that tickets attained off the street were usually illegal and that with o-t-s tickets you might not be seated, however TKTS gets theirs form the theatres, which i figured neway. Sorry for my mis-information
Yay for bway on having a good day...boo on all the tourists who showed up for the week and left all of you without seats, or at least good ones
