TL5Y in Atlanta w/ Andy Meeks

Andy Meeks (Mark on the latest Rent tour) is producing, directing, and starring in a production of The Last 5 Years in Roswell & Atlanta, Georgia starting at the end of this month. Here's what info I have:

As stated on the Kudzu Playhouse website, Andy will be performing The Last Five Years there from June 24th and 25th, and July 1st, 2nd, 8th, and 9th. in Roswell, Georgia.

He will also be performing the show at the Athens Creative Theatre located in Athens, Georgia, the latter four weeks of July, although the theatre's website didn't have the dates or any information on it.

PLEASE NOTE: Apparently Andy and Shelley felt they wouldn't be ready to open by next weekend, so now the show is running July 1st, 2nd, 8th, and 9th in Roswell. They’re also considering adding a Sunday show on the 10th.

Thank you SOOOO MUCH for this info!!! Its awsome to hear because I live in Georgia. WHo is playing Cathy and what has she done?

Honestly, I don't know her name. All I know is that she once played Andy's (Huck Finn's) mother in a production of Big River. LOL

ETA: The girl playing Cathy is Shelley Murphy. I've never heard of her, but hopefully she will be good.

Sadly, no. I live in Nebraska and won't be able to make it down. Hence why I'm hoping to get ahold of a video somehow.

I'm sorry! Though you'd rather have to wait and see the show and have it be solid and dead on than have the actors not feel comfortable with what they're doing and only give 70%, right?

TOTALLY! I would HATE to not feel perpared for a show, and have to perform! As long as I can still go, I'll be ok.lol! I hope Mr.Meeks knows that ppl are antisipating(sp?) this VER much!...Thespian Geek, make sure he knows that!
