Ummm...not quite...only in their general gist. But considering both are fairy tales, written by Ashman/Menken, and Disney, there are going to be similarities. But then again the same could be said of LOTS of shows.

it's the SAME COMPOSER. of course there will be similarities.

listen to Larry O'Keefe - he's most guilty of it. Jason Robert Brown will do it a lot too. same can even be said with Sondheim... I mean. Seriously? C'mon.

I disagree:

"Beyond My Wildest Dreams" sounds a bit like "Belle".

And of course, "Les Poissons" sounds like "Be Our Guest".

We can do this with Little Shop of Horrors... Somewhere that's Green and Part or Your World.
