TLM doesn't have rush- it has SRO.
Even so, I went to the BO last Wednesday and was told that it is up to the discretion of the theater whether or not they will have student rush tix available that day.
Yes, they do have rush on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. You can get two tickets per student id, but you have to have two people there if you want two. I went by myself to get tickets for me and my friend, but the lady said the other person had to be present. Hope that helps/makes sense!

My friend was able to get two tickets without me being there two weeks ago, but I guess they could've changed the policy.
Where are the seats located, how much do they cost?
I think $26.50.... they were Orchestra, row J, on the left. They were great seats!! The lady did give me two tickets, but first made sure I knew about the policy.
One per ID, and there are no seats set aside. I tried last WEdnesday and the show was sold out,b ut I was told to wait on the cancellation line and I would get a ticket at student price.

My tickets weren't together, I got orchestra Row M center, and my friend was about two rows behind me, right/center. I'm guessing they give whatever they have left, rather than have specific seats set aside for rush.

So where are the seats?
"So where are the seats?"
I think it's been pretty well pointed out that there are no specific seats and it's whatever they've got left.
My seats were the two far right sets in Orchestra Row W.
And I was only allowed to buy one student ticket with my ID. The BO person made my friend show her ID as well so she could get a ticket.
I went back to the BO 4 times throughout the day (started at 10:30) before they finally decided to sell me student tix at 5. And I'm convinced they sold me the tickets a ticket broker had just returned to the theater, so I don't know if that's how they decide if they'll have student tix available or not.
It's obviously whatever is left over. Sounds a lot like the policy at Xanadu, where the box office clerk basically has free reign over how to do rush tickets.
bwaydoc...it sounds like you were dealing with everyone's favorite red-haired Lunt-Fontanne box office worker? She's such a witch!!
She was the first person I asked about student rush in the morning. Then I went back and asked the other BO guy the same thing. And from then on I only dealt with him, so he was the one who required me to show two student IDs.

No wonder you searched and found nothing- this is the first time I'm hearing about a TLM rush!
thanks for all this info...i'm trying to take my dad this weekend, so it seems like SRO will be the only option for us:)
