Ok, finally got around to watching Broadway's Lost Treasures on video- in TROUBLE- there is a girl behind Robert Preston in several shots- is it Donna McKechnie?

And did anyone notice Julie Andres slight flub which changed the lyric to "S...where (swear) are the clowns?"

Also, on this year's Tony telecast, at the beginning of "YOU CAN'T STOP THE BEAT" The guy from the show in glasses (John Hill? Adam Fleming) appears to be holding a pear or a gourd as Marissa goes by and then tries to put it in his pocket. What was THAT about? And why did he take his glasses off before the song was over?

John Hill on the Tonys in Hairspray..

thhe thing in his hand is a rubber duck. he and Shoshana Bean call it their "son, Squat" He stuff it in his poshet right afer and you cans ee he and Peter Matthew Smith giggle about it after. You can see a pic of Shoshana with it in the gallery at John Hill's website.
As for his glasses, they probably fell off.
