TOXIC AUDIO ROCKS MY SOCKS!!!

(warning: I'm writing this at a very late hour... pardon if I spell anything incorrectly, or have shotty grammar, or sound like I'm a 13 year old who just came back from an *NSYNC concert or something.)

Oh man.
I went to see Toxic Audio perform at Notre Dame, as I mentioned I was going to earlier in the week.
I brought four of my friends with me.

I have never seen them perform before, but I've heard great things, so I was totally geeked about the entire thing.
They didn't let me down.
It was effing incredible.
Quite possibly the most fascinating event I have ever witnessed.
I was staring ahead at the stage, smiling, giggling, and kicking my feet back and forth like a five-year-old hopped up on sugar throughout the duration of the show.
The entire audience was really into it, including my boyfriend, whom I had successfully talked into going because I was so stoked about the performance.
The things they did with their voices were unbelievable.
And not only are they all insanely vocally gifted, but they are also brilliantly entertaining with their comedy and improvisation.

If they were in town for a week, I'm pretty sure that I would be the crazed stalker fan who would go to every performance.

After the show, they were out in the lobby.
I asked them all to sign my program.
Then I bought a CD and went back and asked them to sign that as well, and none of them seemed to mind.
They were all really nice people.
And they seemed so happy!
I mentioned that I'm a BWW junkie (woot!), and one of them said that he had seen my earlier post about how I was going to see them perform.
And that excited me as well.
Yay for BroadwayWorld.com!

If you are going to be in Las Vegas anytime soon, GO SEE TOXIC AUDIO!!!
I promise you that you will not regret it.
Seriously.
Go!
RUN!
Have a blast!
And tell them that Flowery sent you.
After all, I might just be their biggest fan in Indiana.

Toxic Audio is one of the most talented groups I have ever seen. When their show was off-broadway, I went 9 times (the most I have ever seen a show).

Not only are they RIDICULOUSLY talented, but they are so sweet and personable, always coming out to sign things and willing to answer any question.

They really deserve all the successs in the world. My first post on this board was about them, and I hope they come back to NY soon!

I saw on their website that they're going to be in Muncie, Indiana next month. son_of_a_gunn_25 should go! Maybe I could roadtrip...

Let me tell you why Toxic Audio rocks MY socks. Aside from being uber-talented and dear friends of mine, they are generous beyond belief.
Yesterday, they heard about my goal of raising $10,000 in 10 days (I am calling it TEN IN TEN) for the hurricane victims and I received an e-mail from Rene pledging a significant amount of money to the cause from the gang. Let's just say they made a HUGE dent in the goal. THANK YOU TOXIC AUDIO!!! I love you guys.

Yes, my wonderful and amazing boyfriend was there.
He's a little shy around celebrities, so he was hanging back a little bit.
He loved the show as well, particularly "Mana Mana" (or however you would spell that) and "Paperback Writer".

Glad you enjoyed Toxic Audio so much...my husband and I have been Toxic Audio geeks since 2001 or so and we've been singing their praises to friends and family ever since. Saw them Off Broadway about 6 times last year...no small feat since we live in central FL (grin). And if *I* can make plans to see them in Muncie, so can you...

I played the CD I bought for my friend Anna while we were driving around town and she flipped out. SO GOOD!
