Funnier would be Edna's opinion about Jewtopia and Modern Orthodox.
Can Reidel take an extra week off?

I loved it! I think Vilanch could do a column a week!
I loved his description of "Fidder": Harvey playing a milkman with a bad chest cold- perfect!

"I just heard that Glenn Close is doing a Mamet play and he named it after her."
Genius.
And I shall forever refer to the musical I'm seeing on the 19th as "Go light on the pizza".

Years ago, MadTV did a Hollywood Squares take-off where it was a "Couples" show where each square had a 'couple' Like Mary-Kate & Ashley, Or Whoopi Goldberg & Ted Danson. They had Bruce Vilanch paired off with a "teenage runaway he met on Hollywood Boulevard." I'm so glad to hear that it's not so far from the truth Mimi!
And Really, I'd rather get hit on by Bruce Vilance than Michael Jackson!

Corine. People move on, they do other things. Why do you want to always "save" shows that have lived their lives and are coming to their natural end? Cast movies exactly as you have seen the shows performed? Honestly, you get on these kicks and you seem so unreasonable. Perhaps Bruce has A DIFFERENT one-man show that you haven't seen already? Perhaps he could appear in something that doesn't have the warm cocoon of familiarity for you?
I don't get it. Some of the crusades you get on. Who can forget your "Bring Back Brier" campaign before you had even SEEN Carly Jibson in Hairspray?
It just seems as if you have a sort of tunnel vision and really want the comfort food of repeated viewings of things you have seen over and over again, without any changes to jar you out of your sense of nostalgia.

I only saw the show at Westbeth once. It was hysterical.
I wish he would bring it back.
Seems someone listens to me. I am thrilled that they are bringing Vampire Lesbians Of Sodom back.
PS I am all for another new one man show of Vilanch.
BRING IT ON!

Yeah, it was your suggestion and nothing to do with the anniversary of the production or anything.
I saw a Godspell tour in 1971. Why don't they bring that EXACT tour back with the exact people I saw in it back in '71? Bring back '71 Godspell Tour!

No, because he is a gay MAN. If he were a woman you would threaten him with a lawsuit. Yes, Chorine, you have a problem with women and are obsessed with gay men.
"Why do I love Namo? Because he has dick that will never be used on me. That and the fact that I think he is Kushner."
