Posted: 2/25/05 at 4:25pmI'm sure it does. In my opinion, Euan sounds better singing George's songs than George ever did. Try searching for CULTURE CLUB instead of BOY GEORGE.

Euan in Taboo defintely plays George nicer and more vulnerable than George is in real life. From his autobiography, George comes across as a selfish bitch. They defintely played down George's less attractive characteristics in the musical.
I don't think Euan is necessarily better than George in his prime, but his Euan today sings much better than George does now. George's husky voice now is not the same voice we heard on the original Do You Really and Time.
