Next year? That soon? I hope it's not "too close" to get the real goods.

Quick check...there are about 8 copies of "Take It Like a Man", some new, some used, on half.com and 4 currently on e-bay.

yea I bought mine off of e-bay. Some stores do carry it.
There's a British and American version so watch out for which one you're buying. I guess the Brit one has Brit terms ? I still felt like the American version was very British. Your choice!

So, should i get the cd? I do not know anything about the plot of the show or what its all about. Can the cd just be pure entertainment without me knowing whats going on?

I'm sad that I never got to NYC in time to catch this and support Rosie's project of love. The cast recording has received across-the-board raves from everyone, and I'm thinking of getting it. Does it have the synopsis in the liner notes? Can someone send me a full synopsis of the show? Thanks.

i finally thought of a "more inept musical this season" as requested. That would be BOY FROM OZ. Apart from a catalog of good pop songs and Le Jackman's phenomenal performance (along with some good support in both acting and singing from featured performers), that show had nothing happening. The book, despite the presence of Martin Sherman (whose work i usually admire), sunk to the cliched "and then i met, and then i wrote" formula. The wonderful Jarrod is wasted with bad character development, to the point he has to appear as an angel to sing "Honestly Love You" (though he sings it very well). Some of Joey's choreo is fun. But there is no "there there", no connective new idea, no development of material, just a hodgepodge of good to great people, some good songs, some fun dances, and sentimentality.

Will: They don't give out awards for helping people be gay... unless you count the Tonys. "I guarantee that we'll have tough times. I guarantee that at some point one or both of us will want to get out. But I also guarantee that if I don't ask you to be mine, I'll regret it for the rest of my life..."
