That really is too bad. However flawed the show may have been, the cast and music were incredible and it was clear that Rosie really wanted this and was willing to give everything for it. I'm sorry it couldn't find its audience.

I wanted to see it, but unfortunately I'll be on a cruise in the Carribean that week!!! That's to bad though, I wish it would stay around for just a little while longer! How long has it been open?

Much as I'm relieved if it's not true, some one really has no life if they need to go around spreading false rumors like that. It's disrespectful to all fans of Taboo who may have believed it, and to the people who are working so hard to make this show work.

Someone who works on ATC has just posted that it was removed because it is a news item that is currently "embargoed", and that we can read about it later tonight. So I guess the producers changed their minds from the Newsday article.

I may see Taboo Friday eve, after y'all reveal yourself at Barrymore's. Seems just the time. (Speaking of the fete, I used to see it as "She Loves Me." Now, I'm hopin' it's more like "The Enchanted Cottage," and we all look like Robert Young and Dorothy Maguire once enchanted.)

The writer needs to do some fact-checking. URINETOWN is closing because the theatre is being torn down. IT has nothing do with the "winter drought." THE CARETAKER was a limited engagement production, and TAKE ME OUT closed because they couldn't find a replacement for Daniel Sunjata AND Denis O'Hare was leaving to do ASSASSINS.
