Idina Menzel & Tracie Thoms' "Take Me Or Leave Me" has been remixed by Tracy Young & Gabriel D. Vine! The mixes have just been promo'd to dj's. Support this record & the RENT movie by requesting it whenever possible!

I couldn't stomach the Seasons of Love remixes, hard as I tried.

Well, like it or not, it is a way to expose showtunes to people who would not normally listen to them. I know at least two people who tracked down the RENT soundtrack after hearing the 'Seasons Of Love' remixes.

I have yet to hear a remixed showtune that is as good as the original version - but it's a good starting point to expose a new audience to them. And no publicity is really bad publicity, right?

I have never heard a showtune remix and I feel blessed for that.

Does it start with "DIS IS DA REEEMIXX!"?

Cuz that'd be hot.

I've never heard a remix either... just different people singing it, like Anthony Rapp singing TMOLM with some woman... Alice something. I don't remember where I found it but it was quite entertaining.

O God, not more remixes...you think people would learn after they remixed "My Heart Will Go on" not to remix 'popular' songs...
