In a thread, which I cannot find now (thus started this thread), someone mentioned that they were not able to tell "where" the action onstage was taking place (London or Paris).
The "red" or "blue" lighting of the scenes is what gave it away (which I happen to think clever AND original AND fun). This was explained in an article from the previews in Sarasota.
Here it is:
RED = France
Blue = England
Just fun trivia :)
