Was anyone here able to go? I finally got to see the show I love and was floored! It felt a bit slow during the beginning of the first act, but I think that can be attributed to the narration that was used for the reading which won't be in the actual show. (This won't be a full out review, but I'm going to share a little bit.)

Natalie Toro is amazing. You would not believe how amazing her Out of Sight, Out of Mind was. You could cut the tension in the theatre during that song with a knife. I hope she is cast as Mme. DeFarge because she was phenomenal in the role. Her performance had me completely enthralled!

James Barbour was great also. I love his take on Sydney Carton. He has a presence about him that just hits in just the right way for this show and that role. To see his transformation through the show, and then the very end is just beautiful beyond words.

There is so much more I could say, but I'd just keep going on and on and on. (I may give a more detailed review later.) Anyone else get the opportunity to see it? Or just want to share your love of any of the actors who were in the presentation? I am still on a high from the experience!

Chalk this post up to an over enthusiastic fan or agree with me, but I had one of the greatest evenings in a theatre I have ever had.

Wish I could have been there! I am definitely a James Barbour fan, I'm excited about this show as well re: Tale of Two Cities reading last night...

Q: What is the most weirdest or funniest thing a fan has asked you? Joe Flanigan, Stargate Atlantis: When a fan asked me for help with his grammar. I'm available.

I love the concept CD! I wish I had been there. How much has changed?? I'm sure it has probably gone through some overhauling in the past years since the recording. I can't wait to see it! Thanks for the update re: Tale of Two Cities reading last night...
